Privacy Policy

How outgames.org handles information when you visit.

In short
  • No accounts, no newsletter sign-up.
  • Only the technical server logs a website needs.
  • No advertising or analytics cookies.
  • Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

01Who we are

outgames.org is a website about casino games, with a history of the World OutGames, and is responsible for the information described on this page. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected], the address also given on the contact page.

02How the site is built

outgames.org is a static website. Every page is a plain file prepared in advance, so there is no login, no comment form, no search box that stores what you type and no database of visitors behind it.

The fonts are served from our own server, not from a third-party font service. The only script on the page is a short piece of code that runs in your browser: it opens and closes the mobile menu, highlights the current section in the table of contents, moves the reading progress bar and plays the small animations as you scroll. It does not store anything and sends nothing back to us. There are no embedded videos, social media buttons or advertising tags that would let another company see your visit.

03What we collect

We do not ask you to register or to give us personal details to read the site. Like most websites, the server that hosts outgames.org keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, for security and to keep the site running.

04Server logs in more detail

When your browser asks for a page, the request passes through our hosting provider and the network that delivers the site. As part of that, they record technical details such as your IP address, the address of the page, the time, your browser’s user agent and the page that linked to us, if any.

These records are used to keep the site secure, block abusive traffic and find errors. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors or to work out who someone is, and we do not combine them with anything else. They are kept for a limited period set by the host for those purposes and then deleted. Under UK GDPR, the basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

05Cookies

The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this page will say so and a consent notice will appear before any such cookie is set.

06Email correspondence

If you write to the address on the contact page, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the message itself. We use these only to reply and, for a correction, to fix the page. Messages are kept for as long as they are useful for that, and then deleted. If you sent material for the OutGames history pages and asked to be credited, we keep a note of your name and what you agreed to, so the credit stays correct.

We never add correspondents to a mailing list. There is no newsletter.

Some articles and banners link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control; please read their policies before you share any information with them.

08Children

The casino articles are written for adults and the site does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal details, contact us and we will delete them.

09Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask whether we hold personal data about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact page to make a request.

10Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at any time.
