01What outgames.org is
outgames.org is a website about casino games. It is not a gambling operator: you cannot gamble on this site, and it does not take bets or payments.
02Commercial links
Some links and banners on this site point to commercial websites, including gambling-related sites. outgames.org may receive payment for some of these links. Linked sites are run by third parties and are responsible for their own content and offers.
03Where commercial links appear
Commercial links and banners appear on the home page and inside some of the casino articles. They are never placed on the OutGames history pages, on these legal pages or on the responsible gambling page.
A payment covers the presence of a link. It does not buy a verdict, and it does not change how an article describes a game’s rules, its return to player or the risks of playing. Linked sites are checked when an article is updated, and a link that no longer leads where it should is fixed or taken out.
04How articles are researched
Facts about a game come from the provider that made it: the help screen, the paytable and the published game information. Rules and legal points are checked against the official source, and stories from gambling history against the earliest account available, with the source named in the text when a detail is disputed.
When an article describes how a bonus round or feature plays out, the description follows the game’s own documentation, not one memorable session. A single lucky spin says very little about how a slot behaves over thousands of them.
Older posts from the original blog are kept with their original wording, so the style varies from page to page. Factual errors in them are still corrected; see About Me for how corrections work.
05How AI images are labelled
Every image made for this site with an AI image generator is labelled in four places, so the label stays with it whether you are reading the page, sharing it or saving the file:
- On the image. A small “AI” badge sits in the corner of every AI-generated image.
- Under the image. The caption starts with the words “AI-generated image”.
- In the alternative text. The description read out by screen readers ends with “(AI-generated image)”.
- In the file. The image metadata uses the IPTC digital source type “trained algorithmic media”, the industry standard field for this.
AI images are never used to show what a real person looked like or what really happened at a World OutGames event.
06The OutGames history pages
The OutGames history pages cover the World OutGames from 2006 to 2017. They carry no casino links or advertising.
07How the OutGames pages are written
The World OutGames pages report what happened at each edition and name their sources. No organiser of the Games has paid for, commissioned or approved them. Where a page quotes an organiser, it reports what was said at the time.
Former organisers or participants who want something corrected can write through the contact page.
08Play responsibly
Gambling involves risk. If you choose to gamble, please read our responsible gambling page first.
