Individual Events for both men's and women's divisions will consist of:

Individual Medley 100 M 200 M 400 M      

Each individual event will have age groups within the men's and women's divisions. The three best times in each gender division's age group will receive a medal. A person's age is the age of the person as of 31 December 2017. The age groups are as follows:

Team Relays for men's women's and mixed divisions will consist of

Membership in the U.S. Masters Swimming does not require qualification. The three best teams of each class will receive a medal.

Rules

The competition will be conducted under the rules for US Masters Swimming (USMS), the  Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) and following the recommendations of International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) and US Masters Swimming. The swim meet will be sanctioned by Florida Gold Coast LMSC and US Masters Swimming.

All participating swimmers must be a valid 2017 member of US Masters Swimming (USMS) or the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) recognized equivalent organization of the participant's home country Proof of membership in USMS or a FINA recognized national swimming organization, will be required to participate in the swim meet. Membership cards should be downloaded in order to register.

POSITIVE CHECK IN: All events 400 and above will have a positive check-in. Ifa swimmer checks in to an event and does not show up to participate, s/he may be scratched from the remainder of the swim meet.

The meet host reserves the right to swim all events 400 and above as mixed, however awards will be given out by age group and gender.

The meet host reserves the right to swim two per lane during the 800/1500 meter swims. Swimmers who opt to swim two per lane will swim first. Swimmers opting to swim one to a lane will swim last. This is a measure to minimize time.
