Doubles tournament will be played with two (2) players on the court per team, no more than 2 on the roster. Medals will be awarded to the top three (3) finishers within each division.

Skill Level

Each division will consist of the following categories for Doubles competition:

  • A - Competitive
  • BB - Advanced
  • B - Average
  • C - Recreational

Rules

Rules of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) will be used for all tournament matches, as amended by World OutGames Miami. Any rule changes will be posted on this site by 01 April 2017.

All competitions must involve teams with the required number of players, two (2). Teams with fewer than the required number of players must forfeit. The Men's/Mixed Doubles Category will follow a non-specific gender participation model.Participants are permitted to play on only one team in the tournament. The team captain is the only player who can represent the team in dealings with the officials. Either player may serve as the captain.
