ICONS OF THE BAY – STILTSVILLE AND CAPE FLORIDA LIGHTHOUSE

Delight in this relaxing boat ride to one of our beautiful city’s most hidden gems. Your guide, HistoryMiami Museum's resident historian Dr. Paul George, will take you to Stiltsville where you will learn how this once vivacious community of 27 buildings was transformed into the seven houses that remain amidst the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay. Known in the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s as a playground for wealthy and well-connected Miamians, Stiltsville was once home to the now infamous Crawfish Eddies and Bikini Club. Cruise past the Cape Florida Lighthouse, and Key Biscayne while listening to the history of the city of Miami. The boat will take you up-close to the houses, to allow you to take some great photographs, of this not-to-be-here-forever, residential neighborhood. (Limited to 40 passengers).

Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges unless the tour is cancelled due to inclement weather.
